A Woman Against Feminism and For Men’s Rights

Just like the title says. Feminism has given women privileges without responsibility, and men are left with no choice but to pick up the slack. It’s not fair, it’s not “equal rights” and I won’t stay quiet about it.

Sheroes

My husband picked up a book for me called, “Sheroes”. Actually, on the cover it says, “From Susan B. Anthony to Xena, SHEROES, Bold, Brash, (and Absolutely Unabashed) Superwomen. By Varla Venture, with a Foreword by Vicki Leon, Author of “Uppity Women of Medieval Times”.

I thought….actually, I didn’t know what to think. But I thought it looked interesting. And it is. Some of the women covered in the book were indeed heros, and there is every reason for them to be recognized as such. (Sorry, I just can’t go with the word, “sheroes”, any more than I can use the term, “herstory”. However, for most of the entries I’ve read so far, my reaction has been, “Huh?? What was heroic about that?” Famous? Yes. Heroic? Not so much.

I thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the women who made the book. I plan to take random entries out of the difference sub-categories in the book, summarize what is written about them, and add my own take. Hope you enjoy it.
