A Woman Against Feminism and For Men’s Rights

Just like the title says. Feminism has given women privileges without responsibility, and men are left with no choice but to pick up the slack. It’s not fair, it’s not “equal rights” and I won’t stay quiet about it.

Why Is This Woman Against Feminism?

So, what do I have against feminism, anyway? Well, nothing, per se. I mean, if you look at feminism as a movement seeking to ensure equal opportunities and rewards for everyone regardless of gender, what could possibly be wrong with that? And to be fair, I think a lot of the early feminists – female […]

Anti-Feminist Beliefs & Criticism, Or One Feminist’s Impressions

On: April 4th, 2008 at 3:55 pm | Number of Comments » 31

I came across this article the other day, and it struck me as a good example of the disconnect between feminist ideology and the reality of life in the Western world. I know such examples are everywhere, but this one managed to cram so many (deliberate) misconceptions into one article, I thought it would be […]

Hope Chests = Oppression

I tried and tried to quote only excerpts from this post,   but it only does itself justice if you read the whole thing. Apparently, the ladies…erm….womyn over at feministing can’t imagine why anyone would want a hope chest, filled with hope chest-y things.
According to those paragons of all that a woman should be, wanting to […]

I got an email from Trudy Schuett this morning. She recently published in “real” space a book that’s been cyber-published called “Friends To The End”. It’s about a male victim of domestic violence, and all proceeds beyond cost are going to the Domestic Abuse Hotline For Men and Women. Trudy’s been an activist for quite […]

Hitting Men Is OK - Violence Against WOMEN Is Wrong!!

I heard this ad on the radio the other morning as I was waking up. When it got to the punch line, my eyes flew open and I gasped out loud. I have to say it was a very unpleasant way to wake up.
I went searching and found the tv spot, but it has the […]

You Were Right, Ampersand

In one of my December 2007 entries, my statements were questioned by Ampersand. He said that “two of the quotes on your list are dishonest — either fabricated or distorted through out-of-context quoting. Yet you apparently think I should be taking the list seriously. Why should I assume that the rest of the list […]

Another Man Released From Jail After He Is Proven To Have Been Falsely Accused

This article is profoundly troubling to me on a number of levels. It is far from the first time I’ve seen it reported that a convicted rapist is released after service a substantial chunk of his sentence when it comes out that the accusation was false. I use the pronoun “his” deliberately, as a woman […]

This list really stands on its own, and doesn’t need an introduction. Plus, there are three bonus indicators!
Twenty One Indicators of Systemic Discrimination Against Men
- The American woman by the 1960s lived in the nation with the world’s highest standard of living and owned 65% of the wealth […]

When Will We Stop Hurting Our Children?

I read an article the other day that disturbed me greatly. It was about a 10 year old boy who was punished, pretty severely in my opinion, for daring to show affection to his female teacher. Link to the article. Let me give you the highlights. Ten year […]

Fred X: ‘Men Getting Away With Rape’ Check out this blog by Fred X. The article he’s talking about states that “Only 5.6% of reported cases end in conviction. It is time we faced up to this shameful record on sexual violence.” Hmmm yes. That looks really awful doesn’t it? All those poor rape victims, […]

LL Wants to Know - Why The Double Standard? And So Do I.

In his response to NYMOM, LL brought up some very good points regarding the blatant double standard between women and men in this country. If you look at his numerous examples, you really can’t deny it. And these are only some of the more recent, high-profile cases. It’s the tip of the iceberg. I could […]

Roe v. Wade For Men

We hear so much talk about “it’s her body, her choice”. What choice does the father have? None. And I don’t want to hear about how “he had his fun, now it’s time to step up.” You might be surprised to know how many women lie about being on birth control, or fail […]
